Food Bank

Every month, EASS provides more than 200 families a month with a 4 to 5 day supply of food.  Volunteers follow a list that depicts daily recommended allowances by food groups to pack food orders for typical family sizes consisting of 1 to 6 individuals.  Each order also contains milk, bread, eggs, margarine, meats and cheese.

Eligible families may receive a food order once every 30 days.

Donations of food and funds to keep this service strong come from churches, civic organizations, schools, businesses and individuals.

In 2010 EASS served 8,456 people in its Food Bank operation.

Donations are accepted Monday thru Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at 227 North State St. in Ephrata.  Call for update of our current food needs.  Thank you.
